[movies]Excerpts from classic TV episodes featuring Asian-Americans - Matthew Paul Argall
A video that I (Argall) put together, consisting of four excepts from B&W-era US television, each featuring an Asian or Asian-American. Clip 1 consists of Keye Luke doing a very stereotypical sketch on a 1949 episode of "Texaco Star Theater", clip 2 is from a 1952 episode of "See It Now" (a current affairs show), clip 3 is a clip of a Korean-American woman appearing on popular quiz show "You Bet Your Life", and clip 4 is a 1958 clip of Japanese-American performer Pat Suzuki singing on the ill-fa...

[movies]Unsold television pilot - ''Sea Divers''
An unsold television pilot called "Sea Divers". I'm not surprised this wasn't picked up, the production values would have been b-grade even for a syndicated show.

[movies]1958 NFL Championship
The 1958 National Football League Championship Game was played on December 28, 1958 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. It was the first ever National Football League playoff game to go into sudden death overtime. The game has since become widely known as "The Greatest Game Ever Played". The game marked the beginning of the NFL's popularity surge, and eventual rise to the top of the United States sports market...

[movies]''The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet'' - The Bachelor
An episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", originally broadcast 16 April 1958. Contains the original commercials for Kodak. This episode is a little bit overly-sentimental, but it does have a interesting ending!

[movies]''Dr I.Q.'' - 15 December 1958
An episode of "Dr I.Q.", a short-lived and intentionally low-budget television game show that aired on ABC. A simple "question and answer" quiz show. The host tells us at the beginning of the broadcast that it was *not* rehearsed. Features promos for other ABC series (not sure of the copyright status of these promos). Very few episodes survive of this series. (thanks to TimL2009 for providing the date)

[movies]''Armchair Theatre'' - The Criminals
An episode of British anthology series "Armchair Theatre" from 1958. In this episode, a group of respectable men are forced to commit a bank robbery. This show was not filmed, rather it was telerecorded ("kinescoped"). Unfortunately, due to bad encoding the picture quality is far below my usual standards. It aired in a 65-minute time-slot on ITV, and in at least one region was preceded by "Dial 999" and followed by "Hit Tunes of 1958", but line-ups did vary in those days from region to region...
